Future Development of the Cedars Park Estate

The Cedars Park estate is continuing to evolve. There is still significant development work being carried out and much more is in the planning stage. Some of this planning has already caused a number of residents living within the Cedars Park area some concern. The Cedars Park Residents Association was formed by local residents as a single voice to raise concerns about the future developments plans of the Cedars Park Estate.

On these pages you will find information concerning the future development of Cedars Park. Some considered good others considered detrimental to the area.

• Commercial Units  - The proposal of new commercial units to be built on the south side of the estate

• The Stowmarket Master Plan - The overall governing plan for Cedars Park and the rest of Stowmarket

• The Cedars Park Primary School - The new Primary school being constructed to the north of Cedars Park.

• The Cedars Park Local Centre - The plans for the local centre located next to the primary school. The CPRA is curently opposing plans by Crest Nicholson to build flats at this location.

• Container Depot - A plan by Bidwells to contruct a large container depot opposite the Cedars Park estate.
