Late-night joy-riders are a concern to residents living near Tescos and the new distributor road. Committee members are seeking a more concerted response from the police, and have enlisted the help of local MP David Ruffley to achieve this. Following a CPRA approach, Tescos are clamping down on unwelcome visitors, and they are also considering a request to close the car park to vehicles outside of shopping hours. In the meantime, we urge residents with immediate worries about road safety, or noise disturbance, to contact the police.
