Meeting opened
Minutes read omission from these £150 Grant from Stowmarket
Town Council. Frank Whittle contacted the Environment agency re fishing in the
Lagoon they investigated, the fisherman all had licenses Crest own the land with joint management
with environmental agency.
Bus services the express service to Ipswich has now been
withdrawn believe only a few busses a day stop at
Concern over children’s safety when going to school danger
from builder’s compound, Frank spoke to Gerry about this and he has spoken to
his men to be very careful when children are about.
Treasurers Report
Vote of thanks to David Cole for his £100 Donation; £240 in
bank all bills paid. Alan to approach Greens Transport on Tomo estate for a donation.
Other business
A questionnaire from MSDC was filled in and posted back to
them. STC turned down M&S,Next,and a Public house
application it now goes to MSDC. The other public house has been turned down as
well we think an appeal will be submitted.
Planning application 2141/06
James Trueman presented
his objections to this the high density of these flats and lack of car parking
spaces etc. The committee is fighting this; objection letters for people to
sign will be circulated this weekend. Planning Sanity are going to be contacted
they help people with any planning problems.
Frank Whittle said the
Warehouse project alongside the distributor road are having financial problems
and will not be starting for a few months
